Your wife feels deeply cared for when you take her safety seriously. The Prophet ﷺ was protective of his wives without being controlling. When you stand as a shield for your family, your wife can relax and feel at peace knowing she is guarded.
“'O Allah! Protect me from Satan, and prevent Satan from approaching the offspring you are going to give me,' and if it happens that the lady conceives a child, Satan will neither harm it nor be given power over it.”
“By Allah, they accused her of being with a man about whom I have never known anything bad, and he never entered my house unless I was present there, and whenever I went on a journey, he went with me.”
“The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) said to Ibn Umm Maktum . He was blind. She would undress herself and he could not see her.”
“And as for your saying that none of your guardians are present, none of your guardians, present or absent, would object to that.”
“It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: "O Allah, bear witness that I have issued a warning concerning (failure to fulfill) the rights of the two weak ones: Orphans and women.'"”
