Provision Financial Care
Providing for family needs; financial responsibility; ensuring comfort; working diligently; managing resources wisely
Islam places provision as a husband's obligation. When you work hard to provide, your wife feels valued and secure. This is not about wealth; it is about effort and responsibility. When you fulfill this duty with gratitude and without resentment, you earn profound respect.
“her husband will receive the reward because of his earning”
“It is better for you to leave your inheritors wealthy than to leave them poor begging others”
“O son of Adam! Spend, and I shall spend on you.”
“He used to work for his family”
“Then he sent me to invite men, who (came and) ate; and that was his and Safiyya's wedding banquet.”
“even if it were a morsel which you put in your wife's mouth”
“Thauban reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The most excellent dinar is one that a person spends on his family, and the dinar which he spends on his animal in Allah's path, and the dinar he spends on his companions in Allah's path.”
“Spend it on your wife”
“what a man spends on himself, his wife, his child and his servant, then it is charity.”
“Take what is sufficient for you and your child, on a reasonable basis.”
